Our Story

    Digital marketing is an ever-changing field that requires experiential learning opportunities.  Milt Hwang - one of the University's current Digital Marketing instructors -asked a group of former students if they'd like to be part of a Digital Internship Project.   The internship's primary goal was to create additional hands-on learning experiences for future students.  The first team members created this website, an integrated Google Analytics campaign, and evaluated a new online simulation - all of which will be leveraged by future students.  This project will be evergreen, with both current and former students contributing to create an active learning environment.

    About Us

    A group of motivated students - Maeve Dillon, Dane Meuler, Trinity Philbert, Jasmine Plaud, and Jackson Sprenger - joined the first Digital Internship.  We formed a project team with roles/responsibilities - ranging from Project Management, Content Development, Web Design, Campaign Strategy/Analytics, & Vendor Evaluation and Testing.

    While the internship was about more than just a website, the team decided that a site would be the starting point, and decided to launch digitalmarketinguw.com!  Learn more about the initial digital internship team members below, and feel free to contact them about their experiences.
